does anyone know how they create this?

where can i get the red coloring?

i know it a nickel silver buckle.

You can hard fire enamel this piece but you would need the specialized equipment. But I would guess that this was done with a red epoxy resin which is very affordable and doesn't require much investment. When you fabricate or cast this piece, you want to be sure to under cut your design to create a lip so that it will
keep the enamel or resin in place once either media has solidified.

fired enamel iss very fussy. it will fuse onto only very, very clean metal. copper and silver are primo for this. i have only experimented with the techniques. great things can be done with enameling, but like anything worthwhile- well-- you can gess the rest. it is handy to have a kiln, but not a requirement. ONE OTHER FACTOR TO CONSIDER: enamel has a brilliance and translucent quality that is far superior to epoxy and is available in a truckload of colors.

No,it oxidizes to easily.If iwere going to do this sort of thing,I would consider using a product like ceramit from Rio Grande and do like Greg says.
