I remember years ago trying GRS contour vise jaws that were made of a bicycle chain when I was a apprenticing knife maker under Dan Dennehy (Dan-D). This is way more stable, and a deep jaw depth.
I can see a multitude of clamping uses in my shop, for a vise like this, other than just engraving.

I had a question about lighting on the Microscopes with the Acrobat 003-630.
Are there different wattage lights, or LED's new on the market that would make 54 yr old eyes not strain as much?
Another thought was, the change of color of light that the bulb is emitting?
