I was just thinking back through the years of the Engravers Cafe and I got to wondering whatever happened with that guy who set out to learn hand engraving from start to being a Master Engraver in one year? He just seemed to disappear. Hopefully, he kept engraving beyond that one year.
Originally designed by Sam Alfano, I decided to make a run of 144 of these heavy brass graver lube cups. A tool you will use every day and it will last just about forever. Sam uses one for lube and one for Transfer Wax.

We are having our master bathroom remodeled and I bought these hand cast pewter cabinet pulls made by Notting Hill in Wisconsin. As small of a world it is when it comes to engravers and engraving, I'd almost bet that someone here on the forum must have engraved the mold.
