I am new to graving, and in need of guidance. I am 47 years old, live in Cookeville TN. I have a wife who is the best friend I could ask for. I have a 10 year old daughter, Hannah Beth. I like wood carving,I like to fly rc planes as well as scale. I am a musician at heart, I learned to play guitar at an early age and proceeded to chase the dream for many years.My background is in industrial engineering, R&D, I work for a valve company where I have been for 28 years. I want to learn to use gravers, I have wanted to learn this craft for several years, but had little time to devote to actually getting the tools I need, due to work demands, I for the most part have studied heat treating of titanium, and zirconium for the past several years. I have a small shop at my home with a few mills and lathes that I like to tinker with when I can. I do make pitch cups and other items for ball vises for people from time to time. I enjoy helping others, and sharing our hobbies, If you've read my bio. and are in need of something that I can help with, shoot me some mail and I will see what I can do. I have learned a lot of the things needed can be made if a person only has the mind set to do so, a little skill, the will to fail yet try again. I have recently had health issues that have turned our normal lives up side down. It is amazing at what anyone can go through or face, at a moments notice. That can forever change our lives. But through faith and acceptance of Christ death and resurrection, all things are possible in my life. Though we are all different, we are the same in many ways.
