Re this old post of mine,I felt I should share my excitement in discovering the correct maker and history of my casket .As can be seen on the images .The designer was Emile-August Reiber for Christofle &Cie Paris.

Discovered image a copy of Joseph and Potiphar's wife ,Original by Carlo Cignani painted in 1680.

I have done some minor casting work ,my only feeling is that may be not enough down pressure from back of plate or rubber mold, as rubber mold setting (strange as other fine details look fine)
can flat sections be polished down a little...
