Since my first days, I always had lot of interest for "Art" .
I mean "Art" at large.
As soon as I was able to use a knife, I made something with that tool. Then, I made knives from whatever I found...
My main inspirations came from ancient civilizations. ... From here and from the ancient word.
I would define myself much more as a carver than an engraver. But, to tell the truth, I always have been switching from one technique to the other in order to complete the piece I was working on.
Somewhere around 1998, I began to engrave.
I did never stop since. (even some years i did almost nothing for I was out of the shop doing mission oversea...)
... I am now reorganizing my shops keeping at mind I will work there (probably) for the rest of my life ;o)...
