pleasse post this in the buy sell section. .e bay has used goodies too. don't buy a crocker graver sharpener. they're a pita to get consistent results each time.

BigMeats,Go to Steve Lindsay's site and look at Carl Bleile's way to sharpen gravers with a drill press,sharpening templates & diamond disk's,I'm set up to show my students save $$$$. J.J.

That's what I've been thinking too, I just wanted some1 with knowledge in engraving opinion. I bought their graver holder , now I'm getting my sharpening system almost done getting everything needed to sharpen, all im debating on is either to save and wait longer and buy the dual angle GRS fixture (the best, might as well), ensharp versafixture or buy 1 template from lindsay?? But I think in the long run I'll b better of buy the ensharp versafixture cuz I already have the holder that holds 3/32 or the GRS dual fixture.

i have both. lindsay requires a different template system for each geometry wanted. very easy to use, and accurate. the grs system is also very accurate, but it will do any geometry you want. it has 2, adjustable protractors. one in the vertical plane, the other is for the horizontal plane. with the grs, you don't have a shoebox full of templates to deal with.
i think i have 10 templates by lindsay. takes up a lot of shelf space.

Les Schowe gold inlay & undercut (blue)
Knife & flat combo (smoke)
