Help for identifying a seal

Hello everybody,
A friend of mine has just found this old seal on his his family’s house . He ask me what are the letters engraved on the seal.
The photo is mirrored to see what would appear on the wax.

I read L for the first one; can anyody help me for the second one please?

My guess would be HF. Photo is upside down. The first letter is definitely’H’. Second letter is either F (my guess),I, or J.

Yess !!! I think you're right Ken ; the photo He sent me was upside down and my friend's name statrts with a L . After turning the photo I do read GF , don't you ? But it can also be an ornate L F ???
