Anyone know of suitable watches for engrsving, for someone who’s never done one. I’m not looking to sell or anything, just something for me to try for myself. I hope everyone is happy, healthy and safe in this wild 2020.

Thank you.

hi Quecke, I have never done one but, the other day I checked wally world sale on watch's and picked up a armatron. For 20.00 bucks it is a very nice looking unit. Needs battery. It stopped..........probly why it's 20.00. Have done a thing with it, but plan too, pretty busy now, haven't cut anything for a month. Looked the model of this watch and at one time it was listed at 89.00.

Seiko 5. They have been made for years . You can buy a new one as little as $ 75 or so or, get a used one if you shop around for $20. Nice stainless body and easy to fab a new engraved dial if you want . They have a great following among watch " Modders" and there is some forums for them. www.watchuseek.com is a great watch site.
Hope this helps , Mark
