    Thank you all who replied! It finally worked for me. I realized that the “line or dash” in the eye piece is not on top of the microscope. So repositioned the eye pieces to have those on top and realigned to zero and did all the necessary steps again for focusing. finally aligned!!

    Thank you for your reply. I’ve double checked this, it is installed properly. Working distance is also at 6.23” with the adaptor.
