Flat Disk Grinder - Glass to Carbalt?

Hi all, It's sometimes confusing! With the GRS dual angle, the height doesn't matter, cause it's post mounted, angle stays in any height Same. Lindsay templates are made for to use with 1/2 inch height difference, between the base (foot?!) of the template (lower) and the diamond stone (manual...

Flat Disk Grinder - Glass to Carbalt?

Sorry, ain't it opposite? The disc should be 1/2' above the level of the template base?! - So the template base is lower than the wheel! My grinding wheels are all different thick, I level it out with different thick (Rest-) pieces of plywood. Works well for me! Greetings, tako

    Question: stereo microscope confusion

By the way... Wild microscopes (Swiss) went 1986 to Leitz (Leica), they still produce by Leica under the name Wild at the old Wild factory at Herbrugg/Swiss. So if you buy Wild, it has Leica optics, or is produced before 1986 ! Top (!!!) Quality Microscopes are only produced by 4 Companies...

    Question: stereo microscope confusion

No, I wouldn't say that! I use more often my headloop (opticiviser style but made by Zeiss) than the microscope! It's just so much easier to be able to move ur head freely to see the work from different angles! Sure, when it comes to finer (smaller) detail work, there's no substitute for a good...
