HI, well here is a new buckle. It was shot flat for clarity and will be bent with a very large arbor press at a later date. It is made from 1/2 hard Navel brass 1/8 thick and has 2 Moths in silver applied sitting on silver pins that pass through the buckle and are silver soldered at the pins on the back. :handpiece:

Of course any comments or criticism are more than welcome.

I like it! How did you harvest the background and how did you finish it?

HI, I cut the background with flats to the depth of the original engraving of the flowers, and that was cut with a 45-90 square with a 15 degree parallel heel. The texture of the background was done with a single sharp point. See Sams tips page that's where I found it. I am not sure if I covered "finish" yet if you mean a coating or oil it has none.
