CAD Programs for the beginner

Any suggestions on CAD Programs for the beginning engraver? I am not very computer literate so hoping for something that is user friendly and can be used on a laptop

I'd leave your laptop at home, and go right out and buy the best iPad, or iPad Pro you can afford along with an Apple Pencil, and then download Procreate from the App Store. There are plenty of tutorials online to get you up to speed on the iPad with Procreate.

The other thing I'd suggest is that you either get a copy of Sam Alfano's Drawing Scrolls DVD, or go to https://www.engraving-videos.com and download Sams scroll drawing instructional video to your iPad and PC.

With an iPad, Apple Pencil, Procreate, and Sam's scroll drawing video, the world's your oyster!
