Give 15/85 bullseye shellac denatured alcohol a try or 20/80. works great.

When you mix it up mix it well, then let it settle. You can pour it off the sediment into another container or just use it leaving the sediment on the bottom.

McMaster- Carr has an 8 oz container of white marking fluid for $21.18. I believe this is the exact transfer fluid that is offered in the Engravers Journal. It is solvent based but removes with alcohol and is hard to beat for transfers on darker surfaces.

Since this transfer thread got started again I just wanted to mention one thing. If you’re having problems with transfers with whatever solution you’re using. I found only black pigment inks worked for me not cheap knockoffs using dye base.

I still use Cirelli's transfer solution. I also use Prismacolor markers(PM 121).
