Griff, You asked so I am going to critic. Your layout on the silver sheet put way to much space between the parts. Lots of scrap-Lets tighten that up next time.

Really Griff, great job. Love those hearts. Great job soldering as well. Engraving is certainly top shelf-impeccable-Fred

Really beautiful spurs. I am not a sentimental person but the heart theme really works in your design. Your piercing and sawing is precise, as is your cutting and soldering.

From your pictures, you cut the silver & and shade it first then you solder the appliques on. Sweat soldered? Can I ask what temp solder you are using? I think I would end up with firescale using traditional silver solder. I have never soldered to steel before so I am really in the dark here.
