I have matching Smith's, model 57, 41 mag. and model 27-2, 357, both made around 1980. Can anyone help me with who engraved these guns?

Jerry,

Off hand I do not recognize the work. The only hope of identification are close-up well focused, and well lit photos of the gun. This is not an easy thing to do especially on a nickel plated gun.

If you want to make the effort try this: Take the pictures outside on an overcast day or in the shadow of your house for even lighting with less glare. Use the macro setting on your camera. Use a tripod if you have one. If not brace yourself against something.

There is no need to take a picture of the whole gun at once. Mainly get pictures of the frame (both sides), barrel, and cylinder.

Good luck,

RB
