Engraver Meetup in Colorado

We will have gathering August 18-19 in Cripple Creek, Colorado about 10 miles from Pikes Peak in the mountains above Colorado Springs. We will tour the Mollie Kathleen Gold mine which involves an elevator ride 1000 ft underground and then a train ride on their excellent tour of gold mining procedures. We will have an indoor gathering place to talk shop and engraving stuff.
Tira Mitchell will be there with her tool display to try and buy.
there are two other really cool things in the works but I won’t post about them until they are confirmed.

Ok things are rolling.

We will have a two day engraving event mixed in with tours of the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine.



Myself and Tira Mitchell will give seminars . I believe Tira will do something on stone setting and I will cover scroll design in unusual shapes. Others may give additional demos as well.



Things underway but not yet confirmed would be a special tour of the large operational strip pit gold mine processing house and possibly some hands on viewing of some very unique engraving.

Evening show and tell and engraving seminar

Thursday August 19 9:00 am. -11-30

Tour the Mollie Kathleen mine

Afternoon tour other local museums.

Evening is more show and tell and second seminar.

Friday August 20th. Maybe have third seminar before we depart midday. Or do more local tours.
