Eyewear engraving?

Hi everybody!
I am new here (and also to engraving, I have to say, I started experimenting during the lockdown, but I am not a pro, yet).
The other day, browsing through the internet, I came across the concept of "eyewear engraving". I was fascinated by it: did you ever make something like that? Do you have any suggestion? And do you think is possible to do it by hand?

quite some time ago i fiddled with the photoengraving concept. like anything worthwhile, one soon finds that a good deal of money, proper workspace, specialized equipment, etc, etc is needed to be successful doing this type work. also a bit of learning curve adds to the mix. it is a fascinating procedure with occasional fascinating, if not beautiful results. i have done a ton of hi tech procedures. none have ever given me the satisfaction of working with my hands. ymmv
