Critique Request Fine English Scroll Practice

I'd appreciate any criticism of this English fine scroll practice piece in non-traditionallayout. Outerwork is deliberately larger than standard trying for a "livelier" look. I still have trouble popping the chip but think my shading is improving. Individual scroll form has room to refine I think. The central motif is way too "ragged".

i'm not qualified to critique this work. i will say it has promise on something other than a gun. perhaps a pocket flask or maybe a jewelry box

hello. I think it s not a bad start. Personally I would make the „épitures“ not so long, reduce em with at least a third.. or even the half…just my 2 cents…
