Fixing scratch on a sanded surface?

Hi all!
I have a difficult situation going on: I've just finished shading a watch dial, and unfortunately managed to scratch one part - just a minor scratch, not a slip of a graver. I'm familiar with fixing with burin and then sanding or integrating the scratch into the design somehow, but are there any other small scratch cleaning tips if these are not an option? The background finish is like 20microns parallel sanding. If I were to burnish now, I'd have to sand the whole dial again and would lose some of the delicate shade lines. Thank you!

Can you post a good photo?
Unfortunately the part is already sent to client! I ended up giving it little more sanding and re-engraved some lost details, worked okay this time. But I'm still interested, are there some fixing methods for irregular surfaces, for example with sand-blasted or matte finish?
