Carbide flat gravers are great for cutting mirror bright cuts in gold. I just can’t seem to have any luck with a 40° face. The corners seem to chip very easily. 45° and 50° hold up good. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other carbides out there other than cmax and Lindsay and plain carbide. I’m always looking for something new
