Rock Island Auctions just sold a couple of Nimschke engaved firearms.
His Colt Black Beauty Single Action, one of the few firearms where he used gold inlay, sold for $1,645,000. No I did not mistype that.
His bank note engraved Winchester 1866 sold for $235,000.
