A desktop plaque that I made for the 40th anniversary of GRS company

The materials and techniques are: stand of walnut, inlayed boxwood and silver (925). Fine and micro woodcarving

Width of each letter - 30 mm

In first time I use GRS handpieces for wood-carving :handpiece:
Something like "GRS, with GRS" :)
In general cutting was seamless - from heavy to more fine :fastgraver: .
Some difficulty was rather the blurred sense about the "direction of the tree" because of the vibrations  , but I think I will find the optimal mode over time.
I also think that for this method of cutting the corners of sharpening need to clarify experimentally .

Some work in progress photos :

Remarkable workmanship. You demonstrate how our tools can be used in ways I have never considered.
Thank you for showing your work.

Thank you Jerry K and John B

Jerry, I think these tools have a good potential for making of fine and micro woodcarving.
This was my first experiment.
The tryings will continue

Cheers
