FORUM PROBLEMS AND HOW TO RESOLVE THEM

With thousands of members we simply do not have the resources for personal tech support for answers that can be found with a little effort on your part. If you're having trouble, the solution will most likely be found here. If you are not computer savvy and/or have little experience with the internet, forums, or websites, you can expect a bit of a learning curve. What you can't expect is for us to hold your hand through the entire process. Sorry! Thank you for your understanding.

Very important note!

NEW MEMBERS: Please submit your posts one time only, and give us time to approve them. You do not need to submit multiple times; it may just take us a little while to get to your posts. This only applies to your first three posts. After that, your posts will go online as soon as you submit them, without human intervention. We have implemented human moderation of new users' first three posts to prevent spamming of the forum.

1.) you must be a registered user to login.
2.) you must ACTIVATE your account via the email that was sent to you when you registered. If you didn't receive the email, it could in your spam folder since some spam filters remove forum emails. Please look there first.
3.) YOUR FIRST FEW POSTS go into a moderation queue and will not viewable by the public until approved by an Administrator. This can take up to 24hrs. Patience, please.

VIEWING PHOTOS

Can't view photos in the Cafe?

1.) you must be registered and have ACTIVATED your account via the email that was sent to you (see above).
2.) you must be logged-in or you can't view photos.
3.) If problems persist, read below STAYING LOGGED-IN. The problem is your browser's settings.

CHANGE OF EMAIL ADDRESS

If you change your email address via the User Control Panel, the Cafe sends you an email which requires your attention. Don't ignore the email.


PERMISSION PROBLEMS and/or STAYING LOGGED-IN

If you are a registered user with an activated account and you receive a notice that says you don't have permission to post or view a photo, etc., the problem is your browser's security settings. See solution below.

If you are a registered user and have problems staying logged-in, the problem is not the forum, but your browser's settings. There are no forum software changes that will affect your ability to stay logged-in. The problem is your browser, not the Cafe. This can be annoying, and the solution below will fix the problem.

SOLUTION

1.) Clear your browser's history.
2.) Delete all offline content.
3.) Delete all cookies.
4.) Close and restart your browser.
5.) Be sure the REMEMBER ME? checkbox is checked when you log-in.
