Has anyone heard anything about the 3 day weekend hand engraving seminar at Howard Academy in Stoughton, WI ?
I was considering taking it since it is closer to home than all of the other classes I've found. I'd love to go to Ray Cover's classes but can't afford the class and the travel yet.

Kristin, to learn basics Montgomery community college used to offer on-line courses (2) for a very nominal cost.
Its an 8 week course if I remember correctly. Its mostly aimed at h & c cutting. It will clear up some mysteries and lay a firm foundation for what you need to start imho.
check it out.

I believe Richard Hinson is the coordinator for Montgomery Community College. Everything you need to know about the on-line course is on their web site www.montgomery.edu. Howard Peacock is the online instructor and can be reached at: 910-576-6222 x318, fax 910-576-2176, email at peacockh@earthlink.net. These are my latest contact listings.
