As a young boy of 13yrs I spent a lot of time in Joe Condons shop on Russel Rd. In Las Vegas. I watched him engrave the Elvis 45 and Sammy Davis revolver. He inlayed and engraved over a dozen guns for my dad. I have photos of those packed away. Including the entire Winchester 1912 shotgun collection Including 28 guage. Joe had a large gold ring that was a genie and I always admired it so much he made me one. I watch him cast jewelry and gun inlayes in an old modified washing machine. So much history to share. His magic, and gun tricks would memorize. His wife's name was Pat and their children Mark, Cris, Darrell, Lora and Lori. He had and his gun gluing done by man name Fred in Henderson Nevada. He was associated with Accuracy gun shop. The kids could all jump trampoline very well and would dominate the Paradise pool with their amazing trick dive. I think Chris was the best. Joe was no slouch either when is came diving and trampoline, even giving his size. When Joe cleaned up to do a magic show he was large and handsome all suited up with his teeth in. This is a picture of me in Joe's driveway on Russel rd. My Dad had mark and Chris procure it for me. I'll never forget when Mark was flying up Russel rd. toward Vo-Tech and ran into a street sign. The sign wrapped up over the handlebars and chopped him in the back damaging his liver.
Well I guess I'll end this rant for now and I enjoyed sharing!
