I have always wanted to know and never have seen anywhere that someone has said, How do you pronounce the great man's last name?
Is it Nims ka
Or Nimsh key
or Nimshk
etc.

I know some of you know, so let me in on it too! :biggrin:

I didn't want to bring him up myself, but now that that's out there, How do you pronounce your name Roger?

Our family name is pronounced as if it were spelled Bly-Lee here in the US. It is a Schwabian German name and is pronounced Bly-luh in Germany.

As to LDN, everybody in the states says Nim-Schkee but in Germany, every engraver I have spoken with pronounces the name Nim-schkuh.

Thanks Roger. :clapping: I can sleep better now, although since I live in the US I should probably use the US pronunciation. This will be hard. I like to be precise! (I even looked up "precise" in my dictionary to make sure I spelled it right!!!)
