Hi forum friends. It`s been awhile since last post from me. Engraving is still just a hobby, but I enjoy sitting at the bench with my gravers. This is some progress pictures. A 3 layer knife blade made of a well known blacksmith from Norway. The blade is made the "traditional" way with forge welded mild steel and only hardenable carbon steel in the middle (at the edge). The knife blade it self is 24mm * 85mm. The engraving at the widest is 13mm. Hope you like it :)

Thx for the Likes guys :) Really appreciate feedback, also if there is something I should have done better. Critique from you all will be welcome. Thought I should inform you that I for the first time have sign up for an engraving class. Have saved up some money to spend :) Otto Carter coming first week of July to Sweden this summer to give lessons. I am so exited. Will have to drive my old car 1200 km each way, but I think and hope it will be worth it :)

on a closer look-- on the left-- leaf elements are going the wrong way. their direction disturbs the idea of "flow". jmho, i do like the piece anyway
