Greetings all,
I have an older model Lindsay Classic Foot Control that has no handle on it. Anyone have a softidle stainless one they wish to sell me or alternatively, ideas for a custom version?
many thanks.

I doubt anyone here assumes you need a handle for a foot control and that's more of a wording thing. I have an old "chasing" model that uses a foot control instead of a palm control, and I think Lindsay did not do conversions of the old chasing to palm control. I also have a classic that I had converted to palm control and have both pistons for it and the CO2 cartridge adapter. So, if you have a foot controlled classic, take a look at his website and you will see that he is putting figured wood handles on some of the palm controls for premium prices. Since you have a foot controlled and it presumably works, I would think it would be pretty simple to make a nice wooden piece for it to fit your palm since you don't have to mess with the palm control ports. If you are looking to convert it to palm control, I think you may only have one option that is not really DIY. Not quite ready to sell mine yet and revert to unpowered gravers, but it is something I have considered. I'll probably know what I plan to do by early fall if you are still looking.
