Hello everyone,
(First time posting)I'm currently working on an L.C Smith double barrel and the client wants sculpted inlays which is no issue but where they fall in the pattern is where the side plates and frame meet so these surfaces will split. Do I need to treat these a two separate inlays and leave a small amount of material between each section or can they butt up to each other? Also a flush inlay on the bottom again it falls where the trigger frame bolts to the main frame. Any advice would be great.
