Manhattan Ornaments

During the stopover in New York on my back trip home I remembered the words of Rod suggesting a tour ‘d Europe for ornaments and the like.
Manhattan is an old City too, (New Amsterdam!) and littered with ornaments of long forgotten years on a lot of buildings. I have captured a number of them and have them on display on Picasa for, as we say in Holland, “Ter leering ende vermaekâ€￾. :big grin:

That's a nice set of twisted stones.

You can see he's living there. My series were taken in the few hours I walked Manhattan. Wherever you go on Manhattan there are these expressions from people who love there city.
