I am going to onlay a arg. silver lion onto a brass receiver from Henry. I'm using 1100 series al. for practice, this al. is real close to the malleablity of dead soft argentium silver. Please....what are the best cuts needed to secure it? I've tried a few with little or no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rob

to me, the word,"onlay" means it's applied to the first surface without any cutting thru said surface. iow, soldering
