For the one hundredth time, keep the overlay/engraving an equal distance from the edge. Throw that design out and do it again.

not sure what is going on with the pictures, but it does look much better when in your hands.
for some reason the shade is not comming thru like it should....hhmmmm too much light i guess.
either way it is what it is....getting to see phil c's great example of shade helped out a bunch.
it was good practice plate for me. about 7 hours

2nd picture. 2nd scroll from the right. The top is not equally spaced to the edge as the bottom of the scroll. I like it otherwise. Get it together man! Be all you can be! Oh sorry, that's the Army.
