Richard, Thanks for sharing this about the art of engraving,intaglio and printing intaglio printing is a hobby of mine I have an etching press and engraving the copper plates I never used acid rather use a bruin,I worked in the printing trade for forty five years thanks I found this very interesting. J.J. I’m glad you enjoyed the post. Although I bought some engraving tool about 5 years ago I did not have the opportunity to really start using them till now. It is pretty fascinating to see engraving in all its genre after one starts doing it.
