That is so sad to hear. His artistry on steel is world class and inspirational as are many of the Italian engravers. I still browse through his book published by Blue Book Publications. He will always be remembered through his work. What a life!!

I visdited his studio in 2005 with the GRS team. He was a wonderful host and an outstanding engraver.

I visited Gianfranco's studio with Scott Pilkington and the late Steve Fjestad in 2011. It was an unforgettable experience.

Rest in peace Maestro.

RIP Gianfranco Pedersoli 1946-2021. One of the world’s great master engravers died yesterday from heart failure. A huge loss for the engraving world. View attachment 48307
VERY SAD… NICE MAN
Welcomed me into his home - He and his wife were great hosts. His works as he had shown me were incredible - Needless to say he was extremely talented, humble, but yet still very proud - as deserved to be.
RIP and God Bless
