Signet Ring Impression

Hi Everyone, I've seen this material used to make copies of engraving. I don't recall what the name of the material is.
A client has requested that I use this engraving imprint to make a new ring. I'm hoping to use green impression wax (working temp 123 F) to make a copy of the seal.
My question is this: Can this material hold up to dripping 125 F impression wax on it? And does it readily release this wax?
I'm sure the client wants this impression returned unharmed, it already has a few cracks and is about 1mm thick in some places.

Hi George,
In my opinion, the easiest and more secure way would be to make a 3D scanning of the imprint you have and then, mechanize the 3D model with a CNC milling machine or have it make with a resin 3D printer.
After that you will be able to do whatever you want with the models. You can do a low or high relief, scale it up or down, etc. etc.

Thank you Leonardo, in this case we'll be using the clients gold as well so this route, or similar one, like recreating in CAD or casting the signet ring and re engraving. I don't know for sure if the client wanted me to use this for sentimental or providence reasoning. I'll ask the client and find out.
Thank you again!

Hello George,
as I use a translator, I am not sure if I have understood you correctly. - Your customer wants a new signet ring with the motif of the imprint ?
My approach - take a photo of the impression and make a drawing with GIMP.
Then print with an inkjet printer on tracing paper.
The transfer to the new ring is then automatically reversed.
The material of the imprint is sealing wax - (the best I know is available from the manufacturer “ABRAXAS BASEL”).
Such an imprint is very sensitive - the dark colors are made of carbon black
Perhaps helpful:

My first question to the client would be if they have the rights to reproduce the work? Maybe the copyright of the artist is specially revoked in a case like a signet ring, which is made to make copies?
