Just wanted to say how honored and humbled I was to talk to so many amazing craftsmen and women from all over the world weekend before last) yall blew my mind. I especially enjoyed hanging out with Alice Carter and Tom Harvey.
If you have any desire to go, make a plan to be there next year! It was amazing.

It was a great chance to greet old friends and meet new ones. The varied mix of presenters and their topics worked, as evidenced by the interest of the attendees. Even if you thought you knew all you needed to know about a subject being presented, there was always a game-changing moment with a new tidbit of information that made you wish that you had thought of that and was well worth the cost of the whole weekend. Kudos to Ray Covey for putting all this together. Having plenty of time to quiz both presenters and vendors during the weekend was very useful, not to mention drooling over the engraving examples available for all to see. Next year promises to be even better.

At Arcadia, Missouri. It is held in the gymnasium and other spaces at the Arcadia Academy, a former girls school and now a bed and breakfast/wedding venue. It is a few blocks from Ray Cover's School of Fine Art Engraving which hosted a couple of breakout classes this year. The host venue has a nice restaurant but only a few rooms. There are motels, bed and breakfast rooms, and other restaurants available nearby in Arcadia and Ironton, which are contiguous.
