Thinking in buying a new heavy vise??

Hey guys i was thinking in buying a new vise..well I will like something a little more heavier than the low profile from grs..I was thinking on the goliath or even so I know he's in the works in making something Even heavier like 75lbs heavier..what you guys think and what you guys recommend..thanks

I have made 2 vices. They are a piece of cake. I had an 8 inch steel ball for one. I made a 100 lb+ ball that I use a lot. It took no machining just basic tools and welding.

the magma block weighs around 30 lb. and that was plenty heavy for what I need, especially in the jewelry business.
unless you are doing large heavy objects!
I would try some before buying a heavy vise, I would have probably started with a standard GRS vise instead of the Magna Block, which is a great vise but I Odontoceti need the weight right now
