GunNut where did you find the hand piece and is it for power assist or hand push engraving?

looks like an older GRS model, pre-QC inserts. can you post a couple shots of the business end, end on? does that black part come out or is it fixedly attached?

It appears to be power assist as it has an air tube attached. A61EDABD-E858-42B3-8A7F-A20CDBCC9E7B.jpeg

JJ, I got this with a first gen graver max. that I purchased off of ebay 10-years ago. I was going thru some of my older equipment and found it again, in a box.

yeah, i've seen those, and the "first gen gravermax" would be about the same era, 30-35 yrs or so ago. a square graver will fit in the end, then it's held with a set screw. assuming it's clean and in good condition it should work fine. fire it up and let us know how it goes..

I bought a Graver Mate several years ago and that is the handpiece that came with it. I now use it for my experimental graver machine builds.
