I graduated with a Certificate of Hand Engraving from Gem City College in 1979. I graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1987. I attended the School of Medallic Art in the Italian Mint between 1988 and 1990.
I apprenticed in the art of jewelry engraving in 1980, and have since worked for a series of private workshops in Chicago. Most recently, I have joined the corporate world and have worked as a hand engraver at T & Co. for 11 years and am now working for the United States Mint, Philadelphia
