I moved to Vicenza, Italy in May 2012. At that time I began my studies at Scula Arte e Mestieri di Vicenza. I did my apprenticeship with Italian engraving master Michele Griggio, in Padova, Veneto. I took the Alexandre 3-month optical diamond setting course in Antwerp. I also studied at the GIA in Carlsbad and earned my degree as a Graduate Gemologist in 2017.
I am hoping to expand my knowledge of the art of engraving and continue to learn from others. The wonderful thing about this art is that the rich history it has means it is a lifetime dedicated to trying to understand and learn more!
Other interest include, metal work, pencil sketching, traveling, knitting, history, and running.
