In 2015 I started a hobby of jewellery making. This hobby led me to an interest in engraving. Initially for jewellery purposes and stone setting.
In late 2016 I bought a hammer handpiece for my micromotor and used it with some gravers to give me my first taste of power assisted engraving. Since that moment I have been hooked on engraving. Barely making any jewellery since. In January 2017 I took the plunge and bought a grs gravermax and scope and have been teaching myself ever since.
I struggle with design and draw as much as possible but my progress is slow.
I would love to network with other engravers, newbie and professional alike in the hope I can improve myself.
