Beginning Tools and set up
Hi All - just beginning. I've read through the tool list and and have most (pic of my current kit below). Meeks and Griffiths are coming. I'm a wood carver so have stones and plates from 80 through 8000 and am pretty good at hand sharpening but... getting any consistent edge/point on these tiny...- bluenote38

Hi All; I'm in my first few minutes of joining the Cafe and no experience in engraving. I stumbled on a ball vise a some tools and have happily started trying to push engrave in some soft low carbon steel. I saw a video by Sam Alfano (Admin here?) and of course as a master he was peeling off...- bluenote38
