That’s interesting because I notice more pain when my elbow is touching my side. It could be that my issue is more related to tattooing. My doctor told me to get some voltaren and to rest.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to help with “tennis elbow”?
Update; after seeing a doctor I was told it’s a “repetitive stress injury” and not tendinitis. I guess I’ve been going too hard with drawing/tattooing/engraving. Doctor prescribed rest, ice, and ibuprofen.
Just thought this before and after might be helpful for someone using a drill press stand. Working on this hammer was getting annoying when it bumped into the post.

I’m trying to make this background effect shown in this picture.
I’ve tried a dot punch, but it broke pretty quickly and didn’t really give the effect either. I tried making a shallow punch but I couldn’t polish the inside so it makes the dot rough. Any help would be appreciated.
I’m a little confused where the bearings would go, but I’m hopefully picking up a stand this week then I might have a better understanding. If you have pictures it would be helpful but I appreciate your response.
I’m pretty new to engraving but I think it looks good. Like Danny said, put it on some practice metal. Once you get in on metal you might notice something to change.
