    Yep. Monk is correct don’t put the cart before the horse. You can do all the cutting you need with a square graver. Putting alternative angles on a tool won’t teach you anything, get cutting decent with a square before experimenting Imo. kent

    Rough the face out approximately to the angle you want. That’ll save the bench stones from unnecessary wear. You can get by easily without the lindsey templates.
