Hi Doug,

I find that brazing with silver solder I can mix metals without fearing the solder wont flow to the stainless.
I've been using 304 stainless alot in my jewelry, it doesn't tarnish, It's stronger then platinum. And since I do sculptures in stainless, I have about 4tons of sheet and small wire that I can use in the work. I also use a jewelers saw 3/0 to cut out patterns. One thing though, It takes longer but a ring last forever. The 304 is annealed and with carbide cuts pretty nice. Bright cuts stay polished for ever.

Thanks
