My pictures aren't as good as the engraving but I thought this was some great looking work. I took the pictures at a "cruise" night that I like to attend.

Enjoy,
Peter

That's an interesting technique for something that's going to be very shiny - almost 'negative' engraving by backgrounding around the design and leaving it bright.

I was fortunate enough to see the engraving on Chris Maloufs bike in person, the work was far and above anything I have seen on a motorcycle or car. Unlike many of those engravers he has a knowledge of scroll, balance and design and didn’t try to stretch it out or make it bigger than it should be to cover a lot of area quickly.
Hint,Hint-it would be really nice if he would post some close ups in good lighting of the different parts.

I am honored Carl ... I'll take some close-up shots and post them in the gallery. They'll certainly offer some ideas for those interested in doing the same. I better clean it first ... it's right where I parked it since I rode it out that way. It's time to consider buying a trailer or keeping a chiropractor on retainer when taking that that "park bench with wheels" more than a hundred miles:rolleyes:.
