Hi guys,
I find my name on posts that I did not start. How do you keep from stepping on someones tongue when you are responding to posts. I really don't mean to be rude, just wanting to help if I can. My internet protocol is lousy, I know. Sorry.

Mr. Smith,
I had the opportunity to meet you in Reno, John B. introduced us. We then met again in Tulsa. A man of your expertise and knowledge has no need to apologies. Thank you for joining the forum and sharing your thoughts, ideas and help.

Hi Ron

No need to apologise at all.

In the main area where all the threads are, the name of the thread on the left hand column has a persons name under it. That is the person that started the thread.

E.g This thread is called "apologies" with your name under it.

The right hand column is the name of the person that last posted on the thread.

E.g This thread should have Andrew Biggs on the right hand column (or someone else's name if they write something after me.

The computer programme that Sam has set up automatically adds your name to the post so there is no need to worry. You're not doing anything wrong

I hope that this answers your question

Cheers
Andrew
