Quick question from the new guy on the block. Is there any such thing as a used Bonnie Doon Press?

There are many options besides BonnyDoon presses. it depends on what you are trying to make using a press. most any good welder can build a frame for a 20 ton bottle jack. Ron Claiborne makes a nice damascu forging press. if you want to make coins ,you need a good 50 ton plus coining press.

I use my press mostly for doming belt buckles, but I am always looking for a better "faster" way to do this.
I just finished an order for our county stock show for 30 trophy buckles. After finishing I realize the need for speed.

Elk, What do you use for a die to press into the buckle to dome it? Ken

I use a 5" and a 6" high pressure weld on pipe cap. Makes a nice consistant dome.
I've been using this method for around 10 years.
