Announcement: BPE 3 wheel power hone

I received my Select-a-Finish 3 wheel power hone and found that it is made to fit the current bidirectional model GRS Power Hone.

I Called Bob at BPE who said that it wouldn't work with the older 1st model that I have without a good deal of modification which he doesn't recommend.

It was built for 2 GRS 5" discs in front and one 6" disc (usually ceramic) in back...

Speaking of which, has anyone bought and used one of these?

I sure like the idea of it but would like to hear from someone who has actually used one.

Sandy- Bob said he was able to adapt this device to an old model, but only after modifications to the Hone. He does not recommend attempting it, because of possible damage to the Power Hone. He does regret not mentioning on his website that it is only designed for the current model.
